Thanks to everyone for helping me experience more fun then I ever expected to have the past four years.

I have sold my racecar and trailer and now will have to find something else to do with my summers, like taking my Mustang convertible for some nice road trips, with my hair blowing in the breeze.  Okay, forget the hair blowing part.  I only had the Stang on one road trip this last summer as the racing takes up most all of my time on the weekends.

I want to take this chance to thank my wife, Joan, for all her support and never once complaining that I was gone racing weekend after weekend.  I love you dearest.

Next, I want to thank all my sponsors, Dean Foods, Midwest Business Systems, Thermo-Gel, Washburn Auto Body, Hometown Stars Cereal and Outback Autobody.  All your support helped enable me to do this racing thing, weekend after weekend.

Ivan Sailer was a huge help in my racing endeavors.  I'm kind of a geek when it comes to mechanical issues, and he was always there to tackle any of the problems that I was at a loss to do on my own.  And our trips to the Nationals are days I will remember forever.  Thanks so much Ivan.  You are a great friend.

And last, but certainly not least, I want to say a big "Thank You" to all the drivers who have raced me clean these past four years.  When I got into this, I figured getting wrecked by someone would be a normal occurrence, but in 143 nights of racing, I got wrecked only a few times, and only once was I upset with another driver thinking it was "his fault", and it probably wasn't.  Most of it was just racing.  I've made a lot of good friends doing this and I hope many of them become lifelong friendships.  I won't be at all the races like I was in the past, but I don't intend on being a stranger either.  See you guys in the pits next season.

If you ever wanted to try racing, the Legends class is a great way to go.  I've had more fun than grown men should be allowed to have, most of the nights anyway.  Send me an e-mail and we can discuss my experience.

Thanks again.

Now I will be spending more time in this ride - a 2006 Mustang GT convertible.
